This function gave us a chance to meet and hear respected Dr Vinay Joshi sir and Dr Jayashree Joshi madam. In the past I had attended award ceremony when I was in GMC . Now I enjoyed it at home ( since I have retired). The video made by Rajendra Agarkar ( my classmate) and Praful Kulkarni was wonderful . It is the day of confluence of the glorious Past , the Present

Anniversaries are the opportunities to recollect our old memories (sweet and naughty) of fellowship at the Institution. I give immense pleasure to inviting you all to the Unique Landmark of 75th Anniversary Year, which is exceptional and distinct for all the alumni, faculty members, and all students joined here on this occasion. On behalf of the GMCAAN, I also want to thank from the bottom of my heart, all the Founding Members / Office Bearers of GMCAAN, for their foresight and for providing such a forum for all of us to come together.
On the auspicious occasion of our Institution’s Platinum Jubilee (75th) Year as well as honoring the toppers at the MBBS examinations, I am proud to be amongst you all. Over the decades, the outstanding and committed faculty has significantly contributed in setting a BenchMark in medical education as well as imbibing the values and skills needed to deal with the world outside.
Seventy-five years of our Institution. Rather than looking back, I want to look forward next 25 years to 2047 and what can we do to enhance the glory. I strongly believe that GIVING BACK AND EMPATHY, both individual and collectively constitute a powerful tool for our progress.
